These cockroaches have a definite pecking order. They are rather vicious wing biters especially if they are not receiving enough protein (read dog food). A couple of mine are looking rather tattered at the moment due to this rather annoying habit of theirs. Their coloration, especialy the nymphs, is attractive and rather striking. They have bred steadily and I have an established breeding population of about 25 adults. Easy to keep and breed they currently receive the same fare as the other roach colonies; dog food, bananas, apples and occasional citrus.
